Summer Intensives are a great way for students to keep up with dance through the summer or try out a style they have been interested in before traditional classes start in the fall. These classes last one week per session running for 3 hours.  June 17th-21st Ages 10+

Pre Pointe 8:00-11:00 a.m.

This is a great way for student interested in getting on pointe to begin to hone their ballet skills and start developing leg, ankle and foot strength required for that style of dance.

Contemporary 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

This class uses aspects of ballet, jazz and other modern dances to create dances that show off flexibility, strength and the ability to move fluidly through movements. This is perfect for students who enjoy creativity and expressing themselves through dance.

Pointe (as instructed) 3:00-6:00 p.m.

This style of dance is for students who are already on pointe and have had previous ballet training. Half of the class will be on flat while the other will be on pointe. In addition to working on basic skills students will learn popular variations from different ballets.


June 10th-14th Ages 8-9

Ballet 8:00-11:00 a.m.

This intensive will focus on ballet fundamentals, correct stretching, improving form as well as enhancing leaps, turns, muscle strength and flexibility.

Jazz 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

This intensive will go over jazz fundamentals, including but not limited, to turns, leaps, movement quality and terminology. Students will apply these skills to upbeat dances to popular music.

Hip Hop 3:00-6:00 p.m.

This class is a way for students to express their creativity through dance while picking up different skills such as the pin drop, different spins and isolation moves.


July 8th-12th Ages 10-11
