The following classes are open for new students to join at anytime! They are designed to have new skills and dances every week. These classes are month to month. Hour long classes are $60 per month and 30 minute classes are $30 per month. Registration for 2019 fall classes - 2020 spring classes will be posted soon!

Monday

4:00 pm- 5:00 pm Pre-Pointe 2

This class is perfect for students that have the goal of getting onto pointe in the near future. Focus is placed on ankle, foot, and leg strength training. In addition to preparing the feet and legs for pointe shoes, we focus on the fundamentals of ballet that will continue to be used through your dance career. Students enrolling in this class should have a basic to moderate understanding of ballet because concepts and moves from ballet will be used. Examples of work that takes place would be conditioning, barre work, leaps, center work, turns, and more!

6:30-7:30 Pre-Pointe 1:

In pre-pointe 1, we are welcoming to students that are new to ballet but also would like to get onto pointe. We cover the basics of ballet while conditioning important muscles to prepare students for the jump to pointe. In this class we cover fundamentals, leaps, turns, strength training, and key ballet terminology.

7:45-8:45 High School Hip Hop

This class is great for beginners! Each week students start the class by warming up and then we transition into learning a different 45 second - 1 minute dance to popular music. This class allows students to add their own flair to the dance while learning hip hop moves such as body isolation, creative turns, and tricks. We place a focus on hearing the beat of a song and matching the moves to the song. Every week is different, keeping things entertaining for students!

Tuesday

4:00 pm- 5:00 pm High School Jazz

This is a beginner friendly class that places a focus on jazz fundamentals such as foot positioning, leaps, and turns. We learn different skills at the beginning of class that are used in the last half of class in a small combination to upbeat popular music. This class increases a comprehension of the style of dance, flexibility, strength and coordination.

5:15 pm -6:15 pm Boy’s Hip Hop

For our elementary school boy’s we have a hip hop class that allows them to jump around and move to release energy! We learn different hip hop moves such as the pin drop, footwork, tutting, and pop and locking. In addition to these moves, we learn short combinations to popular music, learn popular fortnite dances, and other hip hop moves that are found in pop culture!

7:45 pm- 8:45 pm Middle School Contemporary

This class incorporates jazz, modern, & ballet elements into an expressive style of dance! Each class we learn a new dance and develop new skills that help improve our dancing. Skills that will be learned are turns, leaps, using emotion in dance, flexibility, moderate tumbling, and body fluidity.

Wednesday

4:00 pm -4:30 pm Pre Hip Hop

Is your little one showing an interest in dance? Join our pre hip hop class and work on motor skills, patterns, and grooving to great music. For 30 minutes we stretch, learn basic arm and leg movements, find new, creative ways to go from point A to point B, and play movement games in an upbeat and fun environment! For this class we accept ages 18 months - 4 years old.
